Our friendly group was started in 1949 and has been a central part of village life ever since.
Our monthly meetings are the in The Old Schoolroom at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of each month and we aim to inspire, entertain and inform members and visitors alike.
Our main aim is to enjoy a social group meeting so our members can foster the wonderful community spirit for which the Allerton villages are well known.
Our yearly programme of events includes outings and visits to places of local interest as well as our wide variety of talks through our guest speakers, charity work, workshops and social activities.
We also network with other WI groups and have the chance to take part in County and National WI events.
We welcome new members to try out an evening or an event with us. Membership is open to women of all ages. Men are also welcome at our advertised open meetings.
The monthly programme of activities is listed in the Allerton News with a small monthly write up about what we have been up to.
If you would like further details about joining, please contact our secretary Gail Pinnock on 07958 294984
