Friends of Allerton Church 100 Club

Rules and Regulations

1. The Friends of Allerton 100 Club is a Community Lottery, run under “Small Society Lottery” rules, with a monthly draw. The aim is to raise money for Allerton Church through an affordable and fun event in which the whole community can participate. It will be administered by the Allerton Church Parochial Church Council.

2. Anybody over 16 years old can become a member. The subscription for one share is £36 per year (ie £3.00 per month), payable annually in advance. Profits will be retained in a “Parish Fund”, managed separately from regular church “Planned Giving” and only be used for Parish expenses. Each shareholder will be allocated a permanent number to be entered in the monthly draw, provided the shareholder’s subscription is up to date. Shareholders are encouraged to subscribe to more than one share. It is hoped that most shareholders will pay by Standing Order.

3. The target is to sell at least 100 shares, but we will not limit ourselves to this; the more shares we sell, the bigger the prizes! Approximately 35% of income will be handed out in prize money, split between 1st/2nd/3rd, giving the following monthly prizes:

PRIZEMonthly prizes if we
sell over 50 shares
Monthly prizes if we
sell over 75 shares
Monthly prizes if we
sell over 100 shares
1st Prize£25£36£50
2nd Prize£12£18£25
3rd Prize£8£12£15
Total£45£66£90

• The prize money at the Christmas and Harvest Home draws will be doubled.

• The draw will be made in public by the Vicar or his representative after the church service on the 1st Sunday of each month, by drawing numbered balls from a bag. The winners will be notified by email and paid by credit transfer directly from the church account within a reasonable period after the draw.

• The winning numbers will be published in the following month’s Allerton News.

4. The first draw will be on Sunday 7th June 2026. The shareholder membership will run annually from this date. Shareholders wishing to leave can only do so at the end of the membership year. Refunds will not be given for people wishing to withdraw before the year end. There is no provision to opt in/out on a month-by-month basis. Members joining after the start of the membership year will be charged a pro-rata amount for the rest of the year and entered in the next available draw following payment of their subscription.

5. Allerton Church Parochial Church Council shall have the power to amend or revoke these rules at their absolute discretion with such reasonable notice to the 100 Club shareholders as is necessary.
